The Fergusons of Farm Road was a radio serial broadcast over national radio in the Bahamas. The program began on May 13th, 1970 at 7:30pm and quickly became a local cultural phenomenon with Bahamians from all walks of life tuning in to hear their lives presented to them in fictional form.
Created by Jeanne Thompson (Bahamas) and Sonia Mills (Jamaica), the show was not intended to last more than three months, but due to popular demand, it ran, off and on, for five years.
